Gary Murphy will re-join the St. Joseph School District as principal at Lindbergh Elementary. Murphy started working for the SJSD as a para-professional at Pickett Elementary in the early 2000’s. He worked as a special education teacher at Humboldt, Edison, and Pershing Elementary. He was the administrative intern at Webster Alternative School. He has spent the last three years working in the Clinton County R-III School District as the Director of Special Education.
Murphy holds a B.S. in Psychology and Sociology, a M.S. in K-12 Special Education, and a Specialists degree in K-12 Ed Leadership from Northwest Missouri State University.
Murphy is married to his wife Vicki, and they have two children.

Murphy was selected as the Outstanding New Assistant Principal through NWMAESP and is active in the NWMO LASE special education group.
